courtney @ a + life blog & a stitch fix giveaway!

friends! do i have a special treat for you today!!!!!

it's courtney, from A + Life!

a fellow girl mom, i'm going to recommend she and i start a support group for fellow girl moms...because let's face it. while we may not be struggling now...our gals are going to take us on an emotional roller coaster over the next XX years, but in the end, it'll all be worth it. it's getting there that might be just a touch bumpy.

courtney is also another gal who i would just LOVE to meet in person. naturally, i would have to leave kaye on the farm. i have a feeling kaye would just be too wild for her sweet abigail.

you guys...courtney is just lovely. her blog is a fun // well-written // thoughtful // funny read that definitely has made it into my blog-read rotation, and if you pop over there, i'm sure you'll enjoy it as well!

but really...enough about how i want to go on endless more blog dates.

read on to see // learn all about courtney's stitch fixes! after seeing all her cute finds...i may have to bite the bullet and jump on this bandwagon.

(plus courtney may or may have a little giveaway snazzied together for you all! getchaself entered!)

Hey there, September Farm readers! I'm so super excited that Karli is letting me take over her space today to share some really fun, girly, and exciting things with you.
I'm Courtney and I blog over at A + Life (I originally titled my blog after my daughter Abigail(A) plus everything else, but then I went and had another little girl (Mabel) 4.5 years later, so she gets to be a part of #secondkidprobs and lumped into the Life portion of my blog title) I mostly write about mamahood and my girlies, but you'll also find faith based posts, a little bit of style, home decor, DIY, and a heavy dose of snark as well.

Now, I'm no fashion blogger. No no no. But one of my favorite things that I have discovered within the last year or so is this fun little thing called Stitch Fix. Ever heard of it? You probably have, but if not, I'll give you a brief rundown of how this service works:

Sign up at StitchFix.com

Fill out your style profile + link up your pinterest style board

Schedule a shipment

For $20, have a box hand picked/styled just for you show up at your doorstep

Try on the five items you've been sent

Keep what you want, send back the rest in the prepaid envelope, check out online(you get to put your $20 fee towards anything you keep!), give detailed feedback about all of your items.....

and then be completely addicted and immediately schedule your next fix!

I've had a number of boxes sent over the last few months and have managed to score a few really awesome pieces, so I thought I would share with you a few of my favorites! Feel free to pin to save or request for your own fixes :)
Stitch Fix now carries maternity clothes, but the thing I loved was that I never got or requested maternity pieces. I was able to get items that worked great while I was pregnant with Mabel, in the time post partum, and still work now that I'm mostly back to normal.
I also have a pair of jeans that I wear allll of the time and a great dress that they sent me that I was able to wear to my little brother's rehearsal dinner last year and to a few other nice events since!
I have rotated through a few different stylists and have only had one box that was a total dud. I consider every box a success as long as it has one piece in it that I just love. And once, I had a box where I kept ALL five!
I have two kids. Going to the store and trying on item after item is just not going to happen....like basically ever. Getting a box of stylish and cute clothes delivered on your doorstep(usually during naptime!), to try on in the comfort of your own home, with your own accessories and lighting, is hard to beat!
Interested in trying Stitch Fix for yourself? Today is your lucky day! I'm offering a $20 Stitch Fix gift card to one lucky reader(this will waive your styling fee!) so that you can try Stitch Fix yourself for free!

Thanks again Karli for letting me introduce myself on your blog today and I hope to see more of your lovely faces over at A + Life soon!

    1. Sometimes that happens! Though, it has only happened to me once in all of my boxes. Detailed feedback and an up to date Pinterest board should definitely get you at least a few pieces you'll love!

And thanks so much!! I usually grow it crazy long and then cut it all off short. Then grow it back out again. I'm currently in a love it long stage, but my postpartum hair is falling out like mad(along with being yanked constantly) so it may not stay long much longer!
