currently...

browsing | i have several different windows open on my safari browser: tone it up (obviously), banana republic...on the hunt for a dress for a wedding, and patagonia. my gals and their suuuuuper fair skin are going to need sun shirts and hats. i plan on logging a lot of boat, garden, and general outside play time.

wearing | my pj's. i changed in to those approximately two and a half minutes after both children were in bed.

watching | 30 for 30. does anybody else watch these? they are the best sports stories on ESPN...and can also be found on netflix. love 'em.

wishing | i wish this ridiculous bikini challenge allowed for all the ice cream i want. i mean...i'd probably only eat it like four times a week. is that excessive?

jazzed about | when i stepped on the scale this morning for my once a week weigh-in i was down two pounds. that's fun.

sipping on | aveda tea | thé. it really is soooooo yummy. it's the only thing keeping me out of the freezer to dig into all that ice cream in there.

wondering | who the hell is lilly pullitzer? i mean...i think i saw her name a few times when i was looking at bikinis a few months ago, but that was literally the first time. is it a southern thing?

looking forward to | in about a month and a half farmer and i will be traveling to santa barbara for the wedding of two fantastically fantastic people. my cousin and his beyond gorgeous gal. i'll be so super sad to leave sawyer-muffin for the first time...and kaye. that gal owns my heart. but to have that little getaway right around the corner with just my farmer...oi. i cannot wait.

netflix obsession | parenthood. why didn't i know this show was so good when it was on tv? regardless...it makes my time on the treadmill borderline bearable.

nervous about | i have to take both girls to the grocery store. i don't know why it gets me so worked up, but it does. maybe it's because we live a 35 minute drive away...so that in itself has potential to go terribly wrong with two children? maybe it's kaye's horrific mood swings she's been throwing our way for the past week? or maybe i'm nervous for no reason. wish us luck.

  2. I've never seen Parenthood, but I just signed up to Netflix the other day (yay it finally made it's way to Australia), and I have big plans for binge sessions!

  5. Lilly is pretty much signature of the south to women down here! I am mildly obsessed with it, but sadly i was not one of those crazies in line before target opened on Sunday. I however was there at 9am and totally confused what had happened to all of the Lilly. LOL!

  6. Funny that you hadn't heard much about Lilly clothes. Maybe it is a southern thing - I'm not totally sure. Her clothes have been popular my whole life and I was born & raised in TX. I, however, didn't go crazy like most people did! I bought three things from her collection at Target and I didn't even have to wait in line to buy them!

  7. Oh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one in the dark about this Lily craze. I felt like I was missing something! Vera Bradley is the crazy pattern of choice here in Indiana, and I don't care much for it either. I'm more of a plain, neutral colors gal. :)

  8. Hahahahaha I had the same reaction to all the Lilly Pullitzer stuff. Like who????

  9. Confession: I've never taken the girls to the grocery store by myself. Nora is now almost 5 months old. I figure, why mess with it when I don't have to!

  11. I love the 30 for 30 shows on espn! I just never have enough time to watch them anymore :( And Parenthood was an amazing show! Glad to hear it is helping pass the time :) And I don't understand this Lilly crap either! Everyone went nuts about buying something from Target. I didn't even blink an eye at it. To each their own I guess...

  12. ahh, so many things to comment on...

First, Bikini Challenge! I'm loving it so far! I lost 3 lbs. the first week........even if some of that was Aunt Flo weight...you know? ;-) 3 lbs. is 3 lbs. I wouldn't dare buy ice cream or the challenge would for sure be a challenge. Ice cream is my weakness, so, I hear ya. I wish. 6 more weeks! ;-)

Parenthood is so great. I started it on Netflix a few years ago and was hooked right away. I need to start watching TV while on the treadmill. Maybe I'd walk/run more. :-)

  13. Good for you on your two pounds and holding strong away from the ice cream! #the struggle
I too missed the Parenthood boat but have been told it is all the rage!
    Hope the store went well!!

  14. Listen, I am terrified of the first time I have to go anywhere with both kids. Absolutely terrified. I tried my double stroller today, and just maneuvering that thing was terrifying in and of itself! So I am with you on that, friend. And Parenthood. Oh, Parenthood. Everyone keeps telling me that I need to watch it. But I'm a bit overwhelmed with the idea of trying to catch up on that many seasons and episodes. On the plus side, if it's as good as everyone says, it's a lot of goodness to keep me occupied for a few months (weeks?) (days?) Lol.

  15. I thought people were crazy with how they talked about the Aveda tea. I mean it couldn't be that good being tea from a hair supply company right? Oh my goodness I have never been happier to be wrong. That stuff is gold!

  18. I love the 30 for 30 series....had no idea they were on Netflix! Broke was my favorite...crazy. And I'm with you....first time I had heard of Lilly was when my daughter purchased the planner earlier this year. I damn sure wasn't waiting in line to fight it out for a few pieces.

  19. Watch 30 for 30 all the time!! Don't understand Lilly for Target hype, but Lilly is definitely a southern thing! Congrats on your weight loss! I definitely have been enjoying ice cream, but I am ready to get back to healthy mind/body next week. We can mourn ice cream together then...

  20. I only know of Lily because a former coworker (from Arkansas) is WAY into it. BUT, I am from Louisiana and I guess it just never made it to Cajunland... Anyway, yes, Parenthood is awesome! My husband and I didn't get into it until after it ended on cable, but I am so glad we gave it a try!
