a blog sale or something like that?

hey you gals and gals and gals (and like...two guys).

in preparation for girl #2 on the farm i've decided to purge anything that even slightly resembles baby boy...including some nursery decor from when i decorated for kaye. (you may or may not know, but we didn't find out the gender of kaye until she was...out. so everything for kaye was very gender neutral.

anyway, i thought the blog would be a great avenue to try and have a little yard blog sale! and with the nursery goodies...why not throw in a few random dresses and the like!

how it's going to work:
  1. if you see something you like, leave a comment with the name of the item.
  2. i'll respond with information regarding payment.
  3. once payment has been made i'll update the blog each time an item sells.
  4. i'll also collect shipment information after payment has been made.
  5. add $5 for shipping.
sounds great, right? right.

now...the goodies:

first up we have some nursery art! i'm beyond thrilled to share this one because the artist i purchased these wood block prints is currently featured on land of nod! (well guess what land of're about two years late. i found him first!)

2 | $35 - LAND OF NOD - I THINK I CANVAS WIDE DRAWER - light green, SET OF 6
as stated in the description, these bins are from land of nod. i used them for diaper + wipe + miscellaneous nursery goodies but as you can see...they can also be used for closet storage, toy storage...any type of storage. they are also collapsable which is a nice little feature. i'll be ordering the exact same pink.
pardon the mini lamp base i have this propped on. this is a medium sized lamp shade from pottery barn. it still has the plastic wrap, as you can that means it's brand-spakin' new. the base color is tan and the embroidery is in a sage green and cream. it's super pretty, i just never found anywhere to put it. lame.

this dress was originally $98. it's super lovely and i even wore it to my rehearsal dinner as well as another friend's wedding...but it's time to part ways. i'm 5'5" and this hits a few inches above the knee. if you have any questions about fit...e-mail me.

5 | SOLD - $15 - J. CREW SHIRT DRESS/TUNIC - size XS
this little shirt dress is brand new with tags. i bought it for work and unfortunately won't be needing it anymore. (sad face) i would say the xs would fit a size 4/6 with a relaxed fit, and a size 8 with a more fitted look. i'm 5'5" and this hits me mid-thigh.

6 | $15 - J. CREW JERSEY DRESS - size XS
this little dress is an olive green color and now that i see it hanging there...i don't think i want to sell it, except for that i haven't worn it in well over a year. i wear it with a nude belt where it cinches below the bust. i'm 5'5" and this hits at the knee. i think i'd like it even more if i got it taken up several inches. i think my farmer would like that too...with cowboy boots.

that concludes the blog sale for this round! we'll talk again when i go through my closet to get rid of all my clothes that no longer fit because of what these two farm gals have done to it. (sigh)
